I am committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What information I collect

I may collect the following personal information about you:

• Name and contact details (email address, phone number) when you make a booking or enquiry.
• Health information relevant to your participation in my classes, where you choose to share it.
• Information about your children where relevant (for example, age when attending Mums & Cubs), where you choose to share it.
• Usage data about how you interact with my website, collected via Google Analytics (see section 5).

I do not collect payment card information directly — payments are handled by our booking platform Bookwhen.

3. How I use your information

I may use your personal information to:

• Process and manage your class bookings.
• Contact you about your bookings, class changes, or cancellations.
• Ensure your safety and wellbeing during my classes.
• Send you relevant updates or promotional communications, where you have consented to receive them.
• Improve our website and services through anonymised analytics data.

I process your personal data on the following legal grounds:

• Contract performance — to fulfil your booking and provide the classes you have paid for.
• Legitimate interests — to manage my business, improve my services and communicate with you about matters relevant to your participation.
• Consent — for marketing communications and for the use of non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation — where I am required to process your data to comply with applicable law.

Where I process health information, I do so on the basis of your explicit consent, or where necessary for reasons of your vital interests.

5. Third parties

I share your information with the following third parties where necessary:

• Bookwhen — my booking platform, which processes your booking details and payment information. Please refer to Bookwhen’s privacy policy for details about how they handle your data.
• Google Analytics — I use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use my website. This collects anonymised usage data including pages visited and time spent on site. Google may transfer this data outside the UK. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking via our cookie consent banner or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

I do not sell your personal data to any third party.

6. How long I keep your data

I will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. In general:

• Booking records are retained for up to 2 years after your last booking.
• Marketing consent records are retained until you withdraw consent.
• Website analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data I hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances.
• Object to or restrict my processing of your data in certain circumstances.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
